Physical Electrochemistry: <br>Fundamentals, Techniques and Applications
This textbook covers the field of physical electrochemistry by introducing the reader to its central topics, including the mechanism of electrode kinetics, electrocapillarity, electrosorption, electrocatalysis, as well as the most important electrochemical methods, such as cyclic voltammetry, the rotating-disc electrode, electrochemical-impedance spectroscopy, microelectrodes and underpotential deposition of metals.

The book is a must-have for anyone wanting to learn more about the methods and their applications in related fields, such as corrosion, materials science, electroplating, nanotechnology and bioelectrochemistry.

Eliezer Gileadi has been a Professor of Chemistry at Tel-Aviv University since 1966 (Emeritus since 2000). He obtained his M.Sc, at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and his Ph.D. at the University of Ottawa, Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a member of the Center for Electrochemical Science and Technology of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He received the Olin-Palladium Award of the Electrochemical Society and the Henry B. Linford Award of the Electrochemical Society for Distinguished Teaching. He published two graduate level textbooks in Interfacial Electrochemistry and has been teaching this subject for the past 40 years. He also published 190 papers and book chapters.
